The rooms
Casa de Velázquez has 31 rooms (two of which are equipped for people with reduced mobility) that can accommodate guests whose activities—whether artistic or scientific—justify a stay in Madrid.
Services and facilities
The reception desk is open 7 days a week, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Outside these hours, guests are provided with an access code.
As the dining area is currently undergoing renovations, breakfast and lunch services will not be available for the next few months. Guests may use the dining services at the School of Architecture (ETSAM), located next to Casa de Velázquez, or make use of the Casa's fully equipped communal kitchen.
The establishment's library is accessible to guests.
Wi-Fi is available in the rooms.
The swimming pool, located in the garden, is open from mid-June.
Applicable rates (effective January 2023)
Accommodation rates are voted on by the institution's Board of Directors.

For sliding scale rates: payment must be made on the last day / these rates may be modified if the stay is shortened.

Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival date. In case of cancellation or no-show, Casa de Velázquez will charge for the first night.
Guests must present identification upon arrival.
If you arrive outside reception opening hours, you must email your supporting document to the lodge before it closes.
