Accessibility

All public sites must comply with accessibility standards. Law no. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for the disabled stipulates that "online public communication services provided by the State, local authorities and public establishments dependent on them must be accessible to the disabled".

Casa de Velázquez has taken great care to make this website accessible to as many people as possible. This page is not a help page, but aims to present the accessibility policy of the www.casadevelazquez.org website , and to define the general level of accessibility observed on the site in accordance with the guidelines and regulations.

Casa de Velázquez has taken particular care to ensure that this website is accessible to as many people as possible. It is committed to complying with RGAA(Référentiel général d'amélioration de l'accessibilité) version 4.

Accessibility is taken into account by all teams involved in implementing the site.

To reinforce the site's accessibility, developers have designed tools that comply with RGAA version 4, contributors have received a dedicated training document, and an RGAA compliance audit is due to be undertaken.

Nevertheless, the content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  • Some images do not have a text alternative, or it is not relevant to the function of the image;
  • Some videos do not yet have transcriptions or audio descriptions;
  • Not all videos are subtitled. Some are automatically subtitled, but this does not guarantee their relevance;
  • Some link titles are inappropriate, providing incomplete information;
  • Documents in PDF format are not accessible, and most do not have an accessible alternative;
  • The integration of external content on the site via Iframe (HAL, OpenEdition, OpenStreetMap, Vimeo, Youtube) does not allow Casa de Velázquez to guarantee the accessibility of this third-party content;
  • The hierarchy of section headings is generally correct, but some pages may contain errors or deficiencies that will be verified by an audit.

These anomalies are currently being analyzed and resolved, and in the absence of a compliance audit this site is declared non-compliant.
