Scientific calls and facilities
For almost a century, the École des hautes études hispaniques et ibériques (EHEHI), the scientific section of Casa de Velázquez, has welcomed a community of researchers with varied profiles, engaged in a project in the humanities and social sciences related to the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America or the Maghreb, and who require a stay in Spain or Portugal. Casa de Velázquez's programs are open to a wide range of profiles, regardless of nationality. They offer research stays ranging from a few weeks to several years, depending on the program.
Researchers benefit from a stimulating academic environment, support and a framework conducive to the advancement of their work. Joined throughout the year by senior scientists hosted as part of MIAS or other mobility programs, this community forms a space for exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue and collective reflection at the heart of Casa de Velázquez.
